We at Reading Pride Celebration are pleased and excited to announce our 4th Pride Celebration from July 16th to July 18th, the day of the festival. This year we are estimating our attendance between 2,000 and 2,500. The entertainment proves to be the best yet
with our main stage offering continuous shows throughout the day from 12 noon to 6 PM. A second entertainment area will be located in the food court area.
Our vendors are a very important part of the festival event providing information, services, and wares to the GLBT community and our allies. Each year the number of vendors participating grows as with last year numbering at 85, each bringing with them a uniqueness that captured the interest of the attendees.
Once again the festival will be held in Centre Park in the Centre Park Historical District in the City of Reading, PA. This little park surrounded by the charm of a Victorian neighborhood provides an intimate atmosphere under an umbrella of shade trees. This year we are encouraging off site parking for attendees with an air-conditioned trolley shuttle to the festival to ease the parking situation and long walks to the park.
To our past vendors, we hope to welcome you back to the festival this year to celebrate our 4th year, which we know will be bigger and better with your return participation.
Our entry fee schedule is as follows:
- NON PROFITS: $10.00
- ($15.00 after 6/15/10)
- WARES, NON FOOD: $50.00
- ($60 after 6/15/10)
- FOOD: $115.00
- ($135.oo after 6.15.10)
- Tables: $10 each
- Folding chairs: $1.00 each
Committee members will review registrations and have the right to reject entries for any reason. If accepted as a vendor for Reading Pride Celebration 2010 you will receive an acceptance letter and instructions for the day of the Pride event. If not, you will be reimbursed in the amount you submitted with your application.
While Reading Pride welcomes participation of all, because we are a family friendly event, if your display or merchandise is of an adult nature, it must be confined within an enclosed space and proof of age identification must be required on entry. We are welcoming of all, but protective of some.
